The North American Bluebird Society has given this birdhouse it’s official endorsement. Bluebirds require a very specific hole size for the birds to enter, and this adheres to those specifications. Couple that with an extension that thwarts most predators and you have a very complete birdhouse for Eastern Bluebirds.
A common problem with bluebird houses is an inundation of blowfly larvae,but this birdhouse eliminates that threat with its elevated wire mesh flooring. This design also provides great ventilation, and cleanout is super simple, as the front door can be removed by unscrewing a couple of screws.
